It is a major problem at all levels and levels. It has spread throughout the country like wildfire. There is no difference between large cities and rural areas, no difference between large and small, or between a veiled woman and a veiled woman. They are all exposed to it, to the point that it has become a problem for those concerned with it who are aware of its danger and are seeking to find a cure for it. But many of them treat only the results of the phenomenon, based on their limited vision, and few of them address its causes and delve into their analysis in depth, in order to reach the correct, complete treatment that addresses the roots of the problem, its results, and its repercussions at the same time, without exaggeration or negligence.
Yes...it is a problem, rather the crime of sexual harassment, a crime that surfaced years ago, and was initially verbal harassment. However, a few years ago, on one of the holidays, the problem appeared in a blatant manner, in attempts to physically harass girls in the center of the Egyptian capital, Cairo. In broad daylight, with families and passers-by unable to protect girls from predatory wolves, this catastrophic phenomenon - which cannot be described as anything less than criminal - was repeated over and over again, without a solution being found, and it worsened until it reached an unprecedented extent.
Narrow view and wrong treatment
When this issue is raised on various occasions, and we listen to people’s opinions about it, we find a lot of shortcomings in vision, and a lack of clarity of vision, with complete insistence that their opinions are absolutely correct, even though they are opinions based on whims and nothing more, even if they depart from the scope of preconceived ideas. Which was implanted in their minds since childhood, causing their attitudes to change and their opinions becoming different or perhaps contradictory to what they say.
Among these opinions are the desperate attempts by some to hold the girls alone fully responsible for this crime, and that had it not been for her leaving her home traveling without a hijab, and wearing tight clothes that arouse desire, in complete violation of the provisions of the noble Sharia, customs and traditions, and had it not been for her bad behaviour, disgraceful behavior and movements ..etc., when I was exposed to what I was exposed to, and when I heard what I heard from these young men, rather wolves, forgetting that these wolves do not differentiate between those who adhere to the legal dress code and those who do not, although their exposure to non-compliant women is of course more, but they are also exposed to veiled and veiled women, which is what He emphasizes that the girl does not bear the responsibility alone.
